    CUARTOS DE FINAL · MATCH PLAY LAS AMÉRICAS PRIMERA CATEGORÍA En juego la última eliminatoria que da acceso a las Finales de esta decimoséptima edición del Match Play Las Américas, con más de la mitad de los matchplay de cuartos disputados tanto en 1a como en 2a categoría. Uno de los alicientes de esta edición era saber si por primera vez en la historia de esta competición un jugador podía alzar su tercer entorchado. Pero Rafael Díez-Folgueras y Antonio Grosso se encargaron de dinamitar esta posibilidad al derrotar, respectivamente, a Claudio Francioni y a Javier González-Machado, bicampeones del Match Play

Hoy se completa el Top 8 de esta categoría con el enfrentamiento entre Luis Sánchez García-Yanes y Roberto Cantero.
