María Velázquez Morales Honoured at the XXVII Arona Sports Gala
The XXVII Arona Sports Gala paid a well-deserved tribute to Golf Las Américas player María Velázquez Morales, recognising her as the best female golfer of the year. This prestigious award, presented by the Department of Sports and the Arona Town Council, highlights her outstanding achievements throughout 2024.
María Velázquez has had an unforgettable season, securing the Pitch & Putt triple crown by becoming Spanish Champion, Canary Islands Champion, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife Provincial Champion. In addition, she has enjoyed great success in various competitions, including qualifying for the Meliá Golf Challenge in Dubai, which will take place from 4th to 9th March.
