Tenerife's golf courses are hosting this week the final event of the International Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians [Europe]. The rotarians will play a fourball competition tomorrow at Golf Las Américas and Abama Golf, and next Thursday and Friday will take place the 45th European Rotary Open Golf Championship at Golf del Sur and Golf Costa Adeje. This is the most important event of the Europe Division of the IGFR. Golf Las Americas ends the 2019 tournaments season with this fourball.
The world summit of this golf association, the 56th International Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians World Championship, took place in Hamburg from 26th until 31st of May 2019.
Now begins the new season 2019/2020. The Junior Golf School offers lessons for beginners and advanced golf throughout all the season. Our coaches, young, pleasant and always with a smile, stand out for knowing how to teach children to play golf, in which the most important thing is that girls and boys have fun practicing. The time they spend at Golf Las Americas has to be the best time of the day for them.
Also thanks to the golf rules & etiquette, golf is the perfect sport to educate the youngest with values such as sportsmanship, respect for the other players, environmental protection. That is the goal of the Junior Golf School, to learn by playing, not only to play golf, but to live together.
Respect for the game, for the opponent, for the course. Respect for life.
